Bye Bye M&M Spokescandies

G'day, Yesterday was a dark day for spokescandies around the world. Mars Wrigley, the parent company of M&M, has announced that they will be indefinitely shelving their famous M&M spokescandies. Even for the most culture-warry culture war types, it may come as a surprise that a seemingly benign candy-coated chocolate brand wouldn't be able to insulate itself from the madness of our polarized world. But, alas, that was not the case. After "androgenizing" some of their spokescandies by deciding to have one wear flatter high heels and making another retire their go-go boots, M&M received a torrent of backlash from the anti-woke movement. And by the anti-woke movement, we mean this minute of hard-hitting journalism about how M&Ms aren't as sexy as they used to be.
